小男孩飛起來了！原來是攝影師爸爸的視覺魔法

當小男孩Wil出生之後，攝影師爸爸Alan Lawrence就知道他很與眾不同，Alan看著Wil的雙眼，這一刻是如此不真實，時間也好像瞬間凝結了起來，因為Wil的杏仁形狀眼睛是如此特別，是的，小男孩Wi一出生就患有唐氏症。

小男孩Wil是攝影師Alan家中第五個小孩，當醫生正式宣告Wil患有唐氏症時之後，Alan就上網搜尋有關於唐氏症的資訊與相關內容，可惜相關的協助諮詢並不多，從這一刻起，Alan就決定要身體力行，對此現狀進行改變。
每當Wil在家中地板爬來爬去，總是會用力抬起手腳，就好像在天空飛翔一樣，於是Alan受此啟發，決定開始拍攝一系列「Wil Can Fly」的攝影作品，透過影像後製手法讓Wil飛起來，希望藉此發起社會大眾對唐氏症兒童的正面關愛。

在Alan把作品張貼上網後，引起很多網友的共鳴與回響，同時也在Kickstarter上發起相片出版募資活動，並聯絡上許多家中有唐氏症寶寶的家長，彼此互相幫助與鼓勵。
Alan強調，唐氏症並不是對家人的重大負擔與磨難，反倒是一種正面力量與祝福，希望能藉由「Wil Can Fly」系列攝影作品，改變社會大眾對唐氏症的觀感，因為唐氏症兒童就如同你我一樣，擁有無限的潛力與夢想。
